Chess Talk # 3
This is my third Chess Talk video post.
The game is between a Danish chess friend I got to know Tobias Lindegaard
Hello, Andrew. Just saw your Chess Talk #3 and wanted to say that in the possible variation you mentioned at about minute 8, after 1.Rb4 Qxa2 2. Qxd6 would have been a serious blunder. Black simply plays Rd8 winning the queen for a rook. Another threat from black is Qa2+ winning the white king's rook. So that position is completely winning for black.
Good effort with the chess video. Have a good day.
Hello again. I've just evaluated my previous post and found I had missed white's reply to 1.Rb4 Qxa2 2.Qxd6 Rd8. White can reply 3.Rb8. After that, it would be best for black to simply trade down with 3. ... Qb1+ 4.Rxb1 Rxd6+ 5.Kc2 0-0 6. Rb7 Ra8 where black will try to push his a pawn while white tries to make play for his passed c pawn. Quite a sharp position with possibilities for both sides. So I made a mistake and black is not completely winning. Sorry about that.

Sorry, made a mistake in the above post. It should have read "Another threat from black is Qa1+ winning the white king's rook."
